Beautiful Sparkly Unique Trumpet Wedding Dress & Flowy Tiered Overskirt
This is a beautiful wedding gown I purchased for a wedding that never happened. (Eek!) Due to covid, we had to delay, downsize and revise, so I am selling this dress for a simpler dress. I am happy to be passing on to a beautiful bride at a much more affordable price than I paid for it.
It was breathtaking when I tried it on and it still is. It fit like a glove and still allowed room to breathe and move. I loved that I could add the skirt for the dramatic effect that I was looking for. Once the skirt is removed, you are left with an elegant trumpet-fitted beauty. The dress alone is perfect for the first dance and to take you later into the evening. I love the detailed beading on the dress that shimmers with each step. The style reminds me of an art deco painting. I felt like a beautiful painting in motion once I put the dress on!
Blemishes: There is one area with loose threads and a small slice on the left side of the bodice. The lining has yet to be put into the dress, which may be useful for the buyer. You can choose a different colored lining if you wish. There are two (2) linings included.
The dress was NOT altered, which means you can fit it exactly to what you want.
I am not very good at describing wedding dresses so I added the technical terms for the design of the dress below. I hope this helps.
- V-neck: dips down in a V-shape
- Natural Waist: waistline that hits at the natural waist (the indentation between the hips and the rib cage)
- Trumpet: fits closely to the body until the mid-hip and then widens gradually to the hem. (resembling the mouth of a trumpet). Often confused with a mermaid, but trumpet flairs from mid-hip, whereas mermaid flairs below the knee
- Court train: slightly longer than the brush, extending approximately 3 feet behind the waist
